It's a hard one to explain, easy to recognise. Playing the numbers rather than the story, perhaps. Doing tricks like advancing an ability that's at 13 to 15 and no further, because that's when it becomes a +2 augment not a +1, and ignoring questions like how important it really is to your character vision.
