It now occurs to me that we can take that a little bit
further, if we abandon the modern/mundane example and
go back to Glorantha. You're probably using magic in
there somewhere, if it's important enough to be
extended. Well, each affinity can only be applied
once. Either you use Feat A in contest A, or Feat B in
contest B. Not both. Some people apply the same
limitation to abilities off a keyword, and again this
helps you divide abilities between the two contests.
And that "multi-tasking" modifier I came up with -
multiple opponent penalties! It's already in the
system! We usually think of it in terms of combat (the
age-old bias), but it applies just as much here.
