Extended Combat in the New Rules, or Oscar Wilde vs. Great Troll Redux

OK, so how does Oscar Wilde use his Witty Speech to defeat a Great Troll under the currently-proposed new rules? Compare and contrast to the Dara Happan with double or triple mastery in Flower Arranging against the same troll.

And can (someone's - forget who) baby still augment its Cry up to the point of defeating a determined attacker? BTW, the geese in the Roman Forum once did this to infiltrating Celts, back in the Early Roman times, so this is as NOT absurd as the previous paragraph's combats, chosen from the Good Old Days of rules discussion before the First Edition was published.. For any who were not around then, or who put those "discussions" out of their memory.
