Eh? The work would be looking at what role the entity is to play in your story, deciding how difficult the encounter should be for the hero(es) in question, and applying the appropriate bonus. I don't mean that to sound as sarcastic as that probably does... but, well, it's a fairly odd question, and what else would I have meant?
