Wow!
675 words is far too much for any character. Even with 100 words you can pluck quite a few abilities that you can use in play.

Check out my blog for some character examples http://darransims.livejournal.com/tag/midweek+character

Here's another HeroQuest character for one of my up and coming games. I just loveTV show 'The Shield' and I would like to run a game with the Strike Team as the player characters. A hard game to run as there would be no mythic, mythos or supernatural events - just a straight hard-hitting corrupt cop story. Also a slightly different style of 100 words as this is written in the first person.

Vic Mackey's Story
"Good cop and bad cop have left for the day. I'm a different kind of cop." "Hey, option one is: we take him alive. But feel free to consider option two." I am the tough, leader of a Strike Team, a four-man anti-gang unit in the Farmington District of Los Angeles. Captain Aceveda thinks that I am an extremely corrupt police officer; that I steal drug-money from drug dealers, I beat and torture suspects, and I may have committed murder more than once. I see my brutal tactics as a means to an end. I am not wholly bad, however; I am a devoted father, a loyal partner to other cops on my team, and will swiftly protect those I see as innocent victims. "I don't step aside, I step up."

> Ko, currently calling herself something else was raised within a powerful family on the Huang Ho in Shansi within sight of the Great Wall beyond which stretches the wastes of the Ordos. Her mother was from Lyon captured as a white slave originally acquired in the Greek Isles. Ko, at an early age was taken from her mother and made the companion-pet of a venerable old scholar who fortunately treated her like a daughter and allowed her to pursue her interests without limit so long as she always returned to provide him with platonic companionship each day. He had a large library and had a wide variety of important and cultivated friends. As he got older, one day would wend its way into the next and Ko had plenty of time to pursue her interests. She read widely, studied martial arts and spent days with rustics out in the mountains and in the Ordos. When he died she was discarded by the family at age 23. She was sold into sexual slavery but almost immediately escaped. She is 30 but looks like she is just in her twenties and is lovely, think Roxana Saberi. She is fluent in Mandarin. She also is proficient in Russian, English, Tibetan (can read and speak these brokenly) and knows some tourist level Korean, French, Mongolian, Arabic and various Turkish dialects. She is very well read in history and literature. She is competent (equivalent to a 2nd degree black belt) in Eagle Claw Northern Style Shaolin Kungfu. She is also an expert at wilderness survival for desert, arctic and mountainous terrains. She actually arrived on the North American continent about five years ago via sea kayak and traveled across the US border from Canada in the wilderness. She acquired a stake for her life in New York by a string of murder/thefts from criminal elements, especially traffickers of drugs and women. In particular Russians whom she loathes. She spent time stalking and planning these targets while living like a monk on the fringes of society working odd jobs that led to one piece of information after another, essentially operating under her own deep cover to develop her targets. She was lucky and had acquired nearly a half million dollars this way over about three years. She has recently begun pursuing an acting career in New York and is studying theater arts, in particular makeup and costume design with an eye toward developing disguises for herself. She has purchased a couple identities including both local and federal IDs and has a real Chinese passport though it is not stamped for US entry and is not really her own. These are kept in a safe deposit box. She has never been genuinely documented by any government. She reads passionately and came across ideas about the singularity and is a devout believer in its imminent arrival. She has started pursuing the regimens of Ray Kurzweil attempting to extend her life span while awaiting technologies that will make her immortal. Her sympathies obviously tend toward transhumanism. She has little interest in contemporary computer technology but is thinking of attending trade school for electronics for the purposes of advancing her career in theft against other criminals. She lives in Jersey across the river in a rented loft apartment above a vacant warehouse that she is thinking of renting too if she ever has a reason. She owns extensive gear for travel in the wilderness. Her money is about half gone and her lifestyle while comparatively simple costs her close to six figures a year even though she pays no taxes. This is largely because of her efforts to expand her knowledge. She has left behind everyone she ever cared about and is having increasing problems with intimacy. She loves to go dancing and is thinking of getting help learning how to budget he money better. She has always been mostly fearless, but since she committed herself to immortality she has become strangely fearful of taking risks. If she had more money she would consider therapy.
