First thing that comes to my mind is the scene from 'Return Of The Jedi', where Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader try to seduce Luke Skywalker to the darkside. I think thats clearly conflict resolution.
Also there is a nice variation between several skills used to achieve the same goal: Lightsabre combat, relationships, forcepowers, talking, persuasion, etc.
Another example is the big fight of The Bride and The Crazy 88/O Ren Ishii from 'Kill Bill'. The Bride wants to kill O Ren, but she has to defeat her minions first. Lots of variations of what can be done in a fight. Multiple mooks, hordes, Wuxia kind of kung fu action, and the big boss "monster" at the end, with lots of tension and, like in Jedi, use of combat, relationship and talk-abilites.
This scene seems to be a mixture of conflict resolution and task resolution.
