Any situation where you have to overcome despair, be it magical or otherwise, and it can also help you mingle with strangers. I'd imagine that this one would potentially get quite a lot of use!

In HQ2, you would list it as a breakout skill from whatever that keyword happens to be (which, indeed, in this case, is exactly what she has done).

It's a very useful ability; most obviously, you can use it augment any combat ability that you happen to be using against the person you hate.

If nothing else, it could help generate interesting stories as you piss people off. You might also use it to goad somebody into doing something foolish.

It gives you a drive to get it back, which can be used as an augment to any ability directed towards that end. You might also be able to use it to get sympathy from someone who would otherwise be ambivalent towards you.

These are just some thoughts; I am sure there are other possibilities.
