Well spotted - I meant to have a "necessarily" in there ... Some arguments can attack several oponents simultaneously without cost. A good example might be an insult drawing on the past (shameful) actions of a clan.

I think these need adjudication on a case by case basis. same is true for combat (e.g., one-off stunts like cutting the candelabra so it falls on three guards etc). I'd waive the mutliple attacker penalty and probably give an edge or other bonus.
