Strictly, this would be two actions: An augmentation, then an attack. However, I tend to feel (no-one's tried it yet in our group) that 'natural' augments, like Strong, Agile, Tough, etc. should take no time, and not require an action. More 'active' augments, like Witty Reparte, The Song of the Sword, Floats Like a Butterfly Stings Like a Bee, and all magic, should require a Unconnected Action. I say roll once per augment for a full exchange (like a combat), any renewal of any augment (like to get a better roll!) is an action.

But strictly, the rules say any augment is an action.
