Actually, one of my favourite characters was a priest who would, during combat, *systematically* declare that he was hiding behind his shield, a large rock, another character, anything else that was handy, and if not possible he'd start running. If I were to convert him to HW I'd take Cower as one of his top Abilities ... however, he was (is) more of a bleeding heart than a coward, and if someone were dying or horribly wounded he'd rush out white-faced and knock-kneed to help them ...

Everyone loved him :-)

There's all sorts of heroism ...

I found that my character's reputation for cowardice was actually an *advantage* in most cases ...
