It's bloody hard. And it makes you good on the offence, not so hot for defence (you can't sield yourself from slingstones and arrows with you'r shield, nor stand in the shieldwall)
Two sword fighting is someghing for (preferebly ambidexterous) expert fighters, held in awe by lesser people. Both the celts and the the Vikings had heroes that fought with 2 swords in the big battles over Ireland.
