Assuming that the Dara Happans also acnowledges Uleria as one of the Old Forces (I'm a bit rusty in my Dara Happan mythology), I think they aught to have a very ambivalent attitude towards her. After all she is from a better and purer age.
Perhaps they treat her worshippers the way the ancient greeks treated their hetairai, or courtesans. They were women schooled in filosophy, rethoric, music and entertainment. They were the only women that men treated as something resembling equals. There was a saying that went something like: a wife to produce children, a mistress for sex and a hetairai for companionsip. An example of this can be found in Phaedon where Socrates sends Xantippe home before draining the poison cup so she wont disturb the philosophical discussion, while allowing the hetairai to remain.
I think the best way to wean players of the 'whore' thing is to make it clear that even though the Ulerian cultists are in the 'sex' business, not just anyone can have it. Not even for big money. The attention of a Uleria cultist should be something people fight for, die for. You don't pick up them, they pick you. After all who don't need a blessing from the godess of love?
Kings desire the love of their subjects, wifes desire the love of their husbands etc etc. What a courtesan of Uleria can give aint a easy way into the sack. It is a blessing of the oldest and most powerful forces of glorantha. I believe that being one of the select few that are invited to a party at a courtesan's house is a definite social boost. I would give a lot of Glory for juat a date with a coutesan in a PDP game.
