Silly because the whole point of the argument is that we just don't know
what in general a Thunderstone is. RQ3 had some description, but HW has
none. It *could* be used to augment a summon storm, but should it?
Does Enhance Gustbran actually enhance the god Gustbran? no. So should a
Thunderstone summon Thunder or do what was described roughly in RQ3 (without
the RQ3 mechanics)? There is NO answer given to say one way or the other...
Consider the following 3 questions from a young Orlanthi to his father:
- Son: "Daddy, what is a broo?", Dad: "Well, son, <nice big descriptive
explantion follows all about what they look like and why they are bad
etc...>"
- Son: "Daddy, what is a Thunderstone?", Dad: "Well, son, I canot tell you
as I will be tried for heresy and hung!"
- Son: "Daddy, what is a Sunset Leap that I have heard the warriors talking
about?", Dad cannot answer and his head begins to shake like some android
having a 'does not compute' failure, he draws his weapon, kills his son and
then his eyes start popping out until eventually his own head falls off.
This is past silly, no?
