Well,

I run a couple of more HW sessions uesing Jeff Kygers scenarios. It was great fun. Everything was going really, really well. I noticed that a couple of rules make only sense once you tried to use them. I was uesing the wealth rules to solve a problem and found out that there already was a rule for the problem in the book (buying stuff which is more expensive than your wealth) - I had read the rule before but now it made sense. Wow. I love the wealth rules - I think there is even more to discover with them.

A couple of highlights:
Durgan the Howler (Odalya devotee) spending his one and only HP to gain the love of a girl from the neighbour clan instead of uesing it in battle.

The feud that was declared singel handed by Boerk Skulsson against the Black Oak Clan. Earning all the fellow people of his stead (the other players) a flaw. Feud with Black Oak Clan.

The Oath that Grimbold Cattlekiller, Humakti devotee, gave to the wife of Boerk Skulsson that her man, his chief, will return alive from the battlefield. Buying down the Hate flaw gained from her.

And of course the battle of the people of Boerk Skulsson Stead (7 carls, 3 heroic players and 2 weaponthanes from the Cyrling Clan) against 6 Weaponthanes, 30 armed carls and the hero Ganthan Ox-Arm and his shield woman Cora Ragnarsdotter. Hey - they won. It is Hero Wars.

What a fantastic game. Thanks a thousand times Robin. I just can not believe it...

Fabian
