I add my voice to this, with the addition that it might
depend on how "rare" the specific ancestor is. Some traditions
may condone the binding of "common" ancestors in one use
fetishes and reserve the axis mundi/ask for delayed magic
for the ancient and powerful ones, tribal founders etc.
