ISTR a suggestion that there were both Sorcerous and Theistic Vampires, (which is why Vivamort was missing from "Lords of Terror"), so I see no reason why both should not still be possible. Western Sorcerors reading black grimoires and falling into undeath, while some Theists worship Vivamort and derive their dread powers from him.

I'd go further and suggest their may well be Anamistic Vampies too, these are people possessed by, or who have successfully integrated "vampiric" hunger spirits. (I'd suggest mystic Vampires too, but I don't have a sufficiently strong grip on the mysticism rules to work out how they'd work).

I remain open on the question as to whether any or all of these approaches are missapplied worship, or whether Vivamort's origins in the Underworld mean that, like Kygor Litor, he can be worshipped by a number of means.

If Vivamort is worshipped by theists what would his Affinities be? I'd guess "Hunger" - whose feats, as Philip suggests, probably resemble the Tap spell, maybe "Undeath" to get Zombie creation and control, and possibly "Darkness"? Is the Cult Secret what actually turns you into a bona-fide Vampire, or is any devotee considered to be one?
