Really? I thought that was the rule for allies. Followers are always around, rolling for their relationship is only necessary when you want them to do something extraordinary (like risk their lives, if they're not warriors). At least, I'm fairly certain that's the idea. Can't find a page reference at the moment - no index, ya know...
