Ah, but with Mile javelin Throw you CAN throw for a mile, whereas with a normal javelin skill you could not. The difference is in judging the distance difficulty as magic, not mundane. That's only D+20, beyond the starter Vingan, but within the range of a decent Clan Heroine.
