Not really. I was re-reading the Drastic Resolutions: Darkness writeups. Many, many, many demons seem tohave been smote, whacked on and then forced to serve their new master -- or simply gave him new powers after he ate them.

But it is an interesting parallel. Was not Bagog an ancient darkness and animal spirit as well?

I was somewhat involved with writing up the ZZ keyword -- simply because we needed it for the Rainbow Mounds conversion back in April/May. I've asked for permission to post the final version that was generated but not yet heard a reply from The Powers That Be.

I'll see what can be done... =) But if you've got more of it and have permission, I'd go with what you have.

Hope this helps.
