When ZZ was born there were no uz.

I don't think so. ZZ is seen as a powerful demon of darkness (Uz being creatures of darkness themselves), a powerful ally or a terrifying enemy. He is warped by the awesome powers he wields, and isn't very easy to confuse with a troll.
