I'd bet on a much, much larger fluctuation. Also add in altitude as a factor. Even in a mild climate living in a valley can give you extreme temperature variations. I used to live in a valley in Southern England that recorded the largest variation in temperature within a single day for England. (Due to a bizarre weather system where cold air slid off the sides of the valley into the bottom and pooled there). The variation from from below freezing to well over room temperature. I'd reckon Dragon Pass could get a 35 degree C fluctuation in a single day no problem. The means will fluctuate less, but with a mean of 50F yould easily die of exposure in a few hours if you aren't inside for the cold bits.
