G'day all [control yourself Wulf ;-)],

I take it we all agree that non-shamans tend to join the shaman on the spirit world (inside the Summoning Circle which I picture as being co-existent with the spirit & mundane plane when activated) in order to get fetishes that are more than one-use ? Of course non-shamans only go travelling on the Spirit Plane when faced with dire choices or horrible accidents, he he he <evil grin>.

In one of my adventures I used the old RQ idea that when shamans defend against big nasty spirits they and their fetch can combine their total abilities in Spirit Combat (as well as their AP) but ONLY for defense. Otherwise I can't see how shamans who trip over a big nasty spirit (i.e. a God or daimone or sorceror, etc) could survive. This is non-canonical but what do you think ? I wanted to throw a big chaos nasty at the players at the end of the adventure and give them a slim chance of holding it off.
