Actually, in the end, they all come from the Great God... But we can't comprehend that so we grasp little facets that are understandable and (importantly) useful to the worshipper.

Yes, but that is the point of being a devotee...

He will have Wind Affinity but won't have feats -- and the Improv penalty is very nasty if you recall that there is a default resistance of 14 to any magic and that there is probably a -5 penalty. Remember, also that Joe "weasley initiate" doesn't have time to raise his affinity too high and if he's less than 17 (and probably lower) he's not going to be able to do this successfully. Work the math.

See the previous point. Also, though its probably a long chore -- this had been discussed in the past on this list on several occasions and you find find some interesting points in the debat.

Because they are more than mere feat lists, from what I have seen. I  strongly suspect that these are going to be good...
