I think that's the most important bit, but I can't help thinking that having your clan destroyed whilst on the Other Side is a bad thing.

I think the Heroquest maintainance might be quite low key relative to the main ceremony. For example, lighting candles, saying prayers, making sacrifices and so on as a regular occurrance.
