Perhaps, but I think that given the difference between a 17 affinity
and a 5w, my own opinion is to save the 24 HP and have done with it.
If you're a warrior type, having a 17 close combat is a good way to
get hurt early on. And the other warriors will laugh at you, kill you
and eat you -- at least in some societies.
