Eden games, qho produce Conspiracy X, have been looking to go to the d20 system. This is a pity, as IMO the ConX mechanics are superb. However, one of the central elements of the game is the use of Pulling Strings - contacts, resources, that sort of thiung. The fluid natur of Hero Wars and the way it handles the gods and whatnoit have a certain analogy with this, and HW might be a suitable conversion mechanic.
