These are no specific rules for this (nor practically any other situation). Just use your "Ambush" against the victim's "Spot Ambush" in a normal contest - simple or extended as desired. The result will apply to Final Actions, or, if desired, to any further contest.
For instance, hunting is Stalk vs. Scent Predator. If the hunter gets a Major Success, the prey gets half chance (Injured) in the hunter's final Ranged Combat vs. Dodge contest. This could be a Coup de Gras, Final Action, etc.
