 Sounds alright to me as I don't see the next sentence "She shouldn't  permit sentences bent simply to squeeze in more information..." as  applying.

I agree. Anyone who has Morocanth Rider as an ability is clearly not power gaming, or minimaxing. If I thought they were, then if I were Narrator I would be forced to be more literal in interpreting Wind Breaker as an ability, for example.
