Just to be pedantic, "daimon" is simply "spirit", "deity", "god", "fortune". There are two other greek words - eudaimon (blessed with good fortune/hapiness, blessed by a "good" spirit) and kakodaimon (cursed with bad fortune, cursed by a "bad" spirit).

Glorantha scholars may recognize a Chaos diety in there...
