One criterion is to know the Secret, yes (note that from this we can assume that the disciple is a Devotee, and has at least three affinities at 10w2+...).

Knowing the Great Secret of a Great God basically takes the hero out of play as he "joins the winds/earth...", which means that there are no "Great God Disciples".

We are still working on disciples (and if Greg were in today I'd have the file done for first lookover...)
