Transferring the thread to a more rules-y enviroment!

Remember, you're diverting all the lovely energy from a heroquest to yourself _selfishly_ Sure you get bennies for it but if you screw up, you're really, really in trouble.

Besides, it was the only way I could think of to raise affinities quickly without resorting to 'here, have a +5' I think I'd restricted the points to affinities and abilities that are appropriate to the quest. And I still charge the heroes 3 HP for each +1 of affinity. But at least I let them buy more than the single point you are usuallly allowed in such situations.

Certainly its not much different from the 'wager' style quests in which you can come back with a new 10w2...

Eh, true enough. I didn't think it would get this rules-y. I'll be happy to move the discussion to the rules list. (hi)
