But it means no God is specialised if every God can provide one augmentation and one edge then Gods like Humakt with there mulitple feats in this lose their advantage.

I normally use the mulitple defender, .ie. -1 per extra defender and take the best magic resistance. I have also used the targeting rules in the NB but I think that made it too easy.
