I'm considering converting HW to Legend of the Five Rings - have started work, actually. Scanning through the LOT5R mythology draws some early comparisons with Dara Happa, notably the specialisation of duties within families and the inheriting of the job. This maps very well to the Clan breakdown in LOT5R. I think the character sheet and grouping of descripotors may need to be altered to match the 5 elemental ring structure which gives LOT5R a lot of its charmn. So far it seems to me that taking the techniques and spells form LOT5R simply as descriptor terms (The Mountain Does Not Move, frex) would translate very easily. Kami take the role of major gods, ancestors as either gods or herocults or both. The shadowlands correposnds wuite well to Chaos.
