"Just so" is a good thing. Implied at the end of the phrase is some combination of: right, appropriate, suited to the situation, perfect in their own way, and cool. The phrase might be loosely derived from the "Just So" stories (was it Kipling who wrote those? Someone of that era I believe), which are all quite wonderful in their own way.
