No, the barrier strength is going ot be the same -- but the obstacles may be more easily faced because you know the secret words to say and have the right passwords. Its routine, until someone starts screwing things up for you -- re Lokymadion (SP!) who managed to block all Initiations to Orlanth for a decade or more.

Wasn't talking about getting across the threshold and back -- that's a hard and fast thing. Remmber, its NOT the kids who will be crossing the barrier. That's the celebrant's duty, NOT the youngster's. He or she ushers them across that they might learn what they need to become adults.

Yep. That's true -- and probably some long term rituals backing that up into the bargain. Special items and special ceremonies all help out... Afterall, most folks DO survive their initiation. And the youngsters are going to have pretty low ablities, afterall.
