As Bob is using AP from the follower in his AP pool, I'd say roll the exchange between the Lunars' and Jim's skill ratings, and take the AP off the hero's total as normal. I'd cap Bob's losses at equal to the amount of AP that Jim contributed in the first place, though.

I'd use Jim's Edge ratings (though I mostly ignore edges unless there's a major disparity in equipment).

If Bob wasn't using Jim's AP, I'd give Jim an AP pool of his own based on whatever skill he is using.
