My character Karath has played in 11 scenarios (plus 1 in progress) so far. As we only get to play about 3.5 hours per session, most of these adventures have taken 2 or more sessions. Our house rule is that we get 1 HP at the start of each session but only get the HP awards at the end of an adventure.

Karath's best skill is 12W and I have spent a lot of addition HP on various feats he has improvised. I have really only concentrated on his Communication affinity - I have put about 5 HP into a relationship with his wife and another 5 HP into his Sweetvoice talent. I also spent 6 or so HP getting him up from -70 APs once when he was frozen by some troll cold spirits. Plus whenever a good opportunity arises, I buy a new relationship of some sort.

Where Karath shows my power-gaming tendencies is his 5 followers. Once I get his Communication up to 13W, the followers will be at 5W/1W - equivalent to a starting character. By judicious (IMO anyway) choice of follower abilities, I have ensured that Karath has 100 or more APs in most extended contests he is involved in.

regards,
Charles
