Works for me. Its what I do, for what that's worth.
Its not like +3 HP is going to make a _great_ difference but being
par-parsi-para-stingy is not a good tactic.
I'm strongly tempted to move to a Seventh Sea 'get a hero point for
cool stuff' style and award less at the end of the night.
