What I mean is, you can do this in an individual campaign basis. If your game is going/likely to feature lots of hunting, take the existing hunting keyword and add four or five abilities under some or all categories. Now your hunters will be able to tell who is better at hunting wolf or boar. Or perhaps, additional abilities for types of traps, hunting regions, what have you. Not only will characters be more dispersed at start, but they will also be able to specialise variously over time.
