Well said, that man! By all means, season your own "Hero Wars" house rules to taste (whether this involves no extended contests; changed augmentation rules; complex skill trees; RQish combat addenda).
But let's leave the core system elegant and streamlined for people who don't share your taste in gaming. "Sancta simplicitas" (and no dropped-oil-lamp tables, please!).
