RQ? What's that? Is there some game system other than HW any would _ever_ describe Glorantha under? ;-)

To inflate my own pipes, and to add to the general carnage, I looked up my article on Iorgh!, and lo and behold, tis in the archives, sure enough.

I'm not sure which scares me most, the appalling corny subject line, or the year of posting...

That's what they all say! The hazards of this type of game can be illustrated by the fact that a Glasgae Yoonie student rag mag once listed "Take up shinty." in its "Top ten ways to commit suicide", and that a famous line of commentary on the Irish variant, on a "minor altercation" involving players knocking nine bells out of each other was "He's being a gentleman -- he's only using his stick." (i.e., on the opposing player...)

I like this plan! Scotland don't seem to be able to beat Ireland any more in "compromise rules" matches, so an American (or Socialist Republic of Central California, whatever) team would be just what we need to keep up our records in internationals!

I know Valind worshippers get a bad rep, but this is the first time I've seen them demoted below _thrall_... <g>
