Actually, no. The Sycthians had had extensive helenization (sp!!) through the Crimea and places like Oliba and Tyras (the ever besieged cities on the black sea). Many folks tended to adopt the greek gods, not just the Romans, as the Greeks seemed to have a certain cachet that other cultures at the time lacked.

That could be the case but I'm staying out of this doctrinal dispute. The Truth About Stormbull is probably a bit advanced for this forum? But I suppose I am just a slacker.

Yeah, I rather think I like it being Uralda. The Pol Joni are hated for a reason. The best reason in nomand society (or many others, for that matter) is 'being not QUITE like us' -- bastard tribe indeed. Something completely alien would not inspire such despite.
