Only those who are cursed can do it without a problem. There are Telmori who still have to do it the old fashioned way. These are teh descendants of those who did not take Nysalor's bargain.

Or they didn't care.... which is possibly more likely.

No. Only the cursed ones are, apparently.

The Pure Telmori still exist (and form the bullk of the Ralios Telmori) but they are rare in Peloria and Dragon Pass.
