Yep.

All four get one counter each, so at least they can field raiding parties (or units of the "barbarian horde" in DP terms) of equal size.

Nah, they've been that way since RQ3. All in all, out of the classic three nonhumans (dwarves, elves, trolls) I think Aldryami are the most alien to human ways of thought. At least _modern_ humans. Uz just want to eat stuff, Mostali are basically robots, but walking plants? At least trolls and dwarves are good for comic relief...
