I don't understand this answer.
What has metaphysics got to do with what a character can or can't do?
Do we really need to get resolve the philosophical distinctions between the Mostali and Brithini world-views before anyone can act?
Much simpler to say if it's written on your character sheet, you can do
it, at the ability rating conveniently also written on your character
sheet.
It's the players job, advised by the narrator where necessary, to make
sure that their abilities and ratings make sense in Glorantha.
