I think Hu the Nine Silence is the Nine Doors of the Court of Silence (yeah, that was easy..), where Issaries the Guide leads the souls of the dead. Issaries himself died and overcame death like the other Lightbringers.
Or Hu the Nine Silences is the last sound people make: when you give your last breath, you soul passes the door of your mouth and goes along with Issaries to the God World in its afterdeath trip. Iniates of Issaries learn the Hu story. Devotees understand that there are nine silences after death, referring to those famous doors. FWIW.
