Battlemasters Leicester University Digby Hall 20th to 21st April 2002 www.eurolog.org The European League of Gamers

This year we shall be running two Hero Wars games. One is a two part tournament, the other a less serious Sunday afternoon game.

Prizes for both the games have been very kindly supplied by The Unspoken Word magazine.

Pavis Tournament
Intended as a introduction to Hero Wars system and the Glorantha setting for novices, with enough to interest the die hard Gloranthaphile as well. Two Scenarios, one for a group of Orlanthi renegades, and another with a collection of Lunar citizens. Both scenarios are set in the classic Gloranthan setting of the City of Pavis, and showcase the system and setting from the very different perspectives of these two cultures from the core Hero Wars rule books.

Ill Wind Over Pavis
Hero Wars adventure for Six Players, by Stephen "Mavis" Cowley.

The kingdom of Sartar has fallen, the Lunar empire stands triumphant. Some say that the great god Orlanth falled with the kingdom and now lies helpless before the Goddess of the Red Moon. YOU say, while one Orlanthi lives free and true the fight goes on! Forced from Sartar you've fled to the city of Pavis to continue the resistance against the Lunars. What adventure will you encounter on your first day in this new city?

Last Seen in Pavis
Hero Wars adventure for Six players, by Paul "Newt" Newport.

The heir of a respected Lunar Noble family goes missing, presumed dead, on a Grand Tour of the barbarian lands of Prax . Five years later agents of the Lord in the City of Pavis, jewel of the Praxian wastes, report that his son has been seen in the shady lower class district of town. A party bound by honour and blood ties is hastly assembled under a veil of secrecy to find the answer to the age old riddle

"When is a ghost a man?"

Troll Quest
A family favourite featuring everyone's ideal nonhuman guest for dinner the Gloranthan Trolls! A slightly more laid back game to be played on the Sunday afternoon.

Of Big Birds and Buzzing things
A Hero Wars adventure for six Trolls, by Paul "Newt" Newport.

They're back and bigger than before (well it is after lunch). After chomping though Iron clad warriors and climbing ridiculous heights before throwing their screaming enemies off the top, the Trolls of the Black Legion are back for their third annual outing. Which means more bashing of heads, splitting of spleens and occasionally flying through the air using sorcerous means unknown to common trollkind. This time you'll have your feet firmly on the ground, but spend most of your time looking skywards.

Presented for the first time in glorious Hero Wars vision for added 'eroics and merry mayhem all
