The most important thing learned from that series is that you're just not ALLOWED to live in the Iron Age, what with having to have licenced folks humanely slaughter animals, Health and Safety and Environmental Health visits demanding changes, etc. They even installed a tap to save them having to use stream water! Admittedly they put it in at the stream at first, but then they moved it nearer the village to save them the extra effort... A waste of time, mostly, you get more from Time Team.
