Hmmm, it would seem to me that she wouldn't be born a thunder brother so much as having to eventually prove that she was a thunder brother? The thunder brothers, although I'm not sure that all are known precisely, were mostly the heroes of god-time I think. I don't think she could be counted as a thunder-brother until she is actually being worshipped, and even then I'm not sure....although of course anything is possible if you get god-learnerish!

As to what her 'thing' could be I would think it would depend a bit on her focus.
-There are a lot of hunting related possibilities, but they would only be appropriate if she had a hunting focus. -She could be the most fertile of the thunder brothers, but that probably isn't much fun for a player character ("You get home from fighting the broo to find all four sets of twins, not to mention the triplets, are hungry and screaming....."). -Along the lines of what Yinkin is noted for, there is loyalty, if that is one of her virtues.
-Having lived with several female cats, I can tell you that they can be very fierce defenders of what is theirs. Both attitude (be visibly willing to take on a foe two or three times their size), and their prowess (one cat happily beat up any dog that bugged her that was smaller than about a german shepherd. She'd stand there while they charged, then leap and shred their tender nose with one blow, which usually ended the affair right there). So anything like "fierce defender" could work possibly. - Hmmm, actually re-reading that last point, perhaps something like "leaping strike"---the ability to strike during incredible jumps, letting you attack giants, low flyers, people on walls, etc. I can't think of anyone else who specializes in that, and it is _very_ feline. (yes, low flyers--same little tabby cat used tease the birds into heckling her, crouch down like she was cowed by them, until they swooped low enough, then would leap 5+ feet in the air and catch them in mid-flight)

I hope some of that helped.
