Correction accepted; I meant that they are not primarily power-gamers.
Although one of the funniest things I remember is a bit the opposite -- in early RQ years, with a Balazaring party, the characters ended up buying a pot in Elkoi and taking it triumphantly home, and my oldest son, then 15, and playing a 16-year old, murmured sotto voce, "sometimes I hate playing primitive barbarians."
